Line managers from KBK Mine and BSK Refinery recently completed a two-week NEBOSH International IGC safety training.
The IGC training is to systematically improve the occupational safety and health management skills of line managers so as to how to have a better management of health and safety in the workplace on both sites.
The so called NEBOSH training introduced participants to the principles of risk management how to incorporate them into day-to-day decisions.
The training is successful and a qualification will be issued after the training and passing the exam.
Ramu NiCo further stated that as a Company it is liable to comply with all the legal requirements and safety regulations in PNG and devoted itself to maintain its good organizational reputation in terms of vibrant environment and safety management and other operational areas.
