After a successful year of partnership and hard work, the Ramu NiCo Mine in Madang has delivered 36 projects for its Landowners in the Coastal Pipeline area 2025.

Those 36 projects were delivered through the Community Development Fund (CDF) program, and the landowners themselves decide on which projects they wanted for the company to deliver for them.

During the company’s Christmas celebration, Ramu NiCo’s Coastal Pipeline Landowner Association Chairman, Steven Saud proudly declared the delivery of these projects.

The event, organized by the company’s Community Affairs Department, was held on 19 December, 2025.

General Manager of the Ramu NiCo Community Affairs Department, Eric Kuman, thanked all the partners who have contributed to the success of the projects in one way or the other.

Some of the partners who attended were the executives from Bank South Pacific, National MiCro Bank, landowner association representatives, police and Ramu NiCo’s officers from the Corporate, Human Resources and Finance Departments.

Mr Kuman emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in achieving the goals and delivering positive change to the communities along the Ramu NiCo project corridor.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Saud stated that the projects have greatly improved the lives of the landowners as well as community people.

He thanked the company for fulfilling its corporate social responsibility and for being a responsible partner in the development of the region.

The 75 projects include the construction of schools, health clinics and water supply infrastructure and other types of aid projects.

These projects have not only provided basic necessities for the communities, but also created job opportunities and boosted the local economy.

Since its establishment, the Ramu NiCo Mine has been committed to working closely with the landowners and other stakeholders to ensure sustainable development and a mutually beneficial relationship.

They have upheld their promise of delivering projects that will have a positive impact on the lives of the people living in the project corridors.

As the year comes to an end, the Ramu NiCo Mine and its partners can proudly look back at the successful projects delivered and the positive changes they have brought to the communities.

With the same spirit and determination, they hope to bring even more development and opportunities in the coming years.
