On June 6, Madang United FC, officially named and sponsored by Ramu NiCo, competed with Moresby FC at their home ground in the 2026 Papua New Guinea Super League (PSL). In the club’s first home appearance of the season, the team delivered a resounding 4:1 victory and June10th the second round 0:1 and the third round 2:1, treating fans to a serials of exciting and unforgettable football spectacles.
The match was fiercely contested on June 6. Madang United FC took control from the opening whistle, combining sharp teamwork with clinical finishing to score four goals. Though trailing on the scoreboard, Moresby FC battled with tenacity throughout and earned a well-deserved goal near the final whistle — a moment that drew warm applause from the crowd.
Ramu NiCo Vice President Meng Deyong led a delegation of company staff to the stadium to cheer the team on.
