Ramu NiCo as a corporate citizen of Madang Province and Papua New Guinea took part in the province car float parade program that happened on the 29th of August at the provincial capital with other 30 floats from Tertiary Institution in Madang, Business Houses, Investors, Government and Non-Government Organizations.
Ramu NiCo this year being the platinum sponsor of the 50th Independence Program in Madang had a chance to include two vehicles with decoration as their float to the program that was organised by Madang Provincial Events Committee. The event’s aim was to get-together everyone in the provincial capital to welcome September and also to show Papua New Guinea that Madang Province is ready to celebrate the nation’s 50th Independence Anniversary.
Madang Provincial Events Committee (MPEC) Chairman Sigi Beschel said the total car float parade number for the program was only below twenty in the actual program paper that was confirmed pervious days ago, however the total number of floats that turned out on the day increased to 30-plus.
“This program not only shows the total of business houses and corporate organisations in Madang town, but also is a display of unity and cooperation to work together as a team to celebrate our nation’s Golden Jubilee in the province,” (MPEC) Chairman Sigi Beschel said.
The Madang Provincial Events Committee Chairman thanked Ramu NiCo for being the Major Sponsor of the 50th Independence Program in Madang Town and also appreciated other sponsors towards the Independence program for Madang Province.
Ramu NiCo’s 50th Anniversary Events Committee also confirmed that the company will field a team to participate in the Kalibobo Ironman Competition that will take place on the 15th of September. The Ironman competition is also part of MPEC planned events towards the celebration of the country’s Golden Jubilee Independence program.
Ramu NiCo as a corporate citizen for Madang and Papua New Guinea will always collaborate and participate towards significant events and programs that will have a positive impact on the lives of the community that the company is based on.
