A Ramu NiCo’s related landowner company in Madang has taken a step further to improve its operations by replacing old vehicles.

Raibus Security, owned by landowners at the Ramu Nickel and Cobalt Project in Madang’s Usino-Bundi and Rai Coast districts, added two new 15-seater buses this week for its operations.

The security company purchased a truck and a coaster bus in August, and last week added two more new 15-seater buses to replace the old ones.

Raibus Security General Manager Mathew Denguo said the company is gradually replacing its old fleet with new vehicles to ensure more effective operation.

Mr. Denguo said the vehicles were purchased through direct payment, not through bank loans.

“Having new company vehicles is a sign of prosperity, and landowners should know that they will get their dividends soon. But first, Raibus Security Service needs to equip itself with better resources to operate in the long run,” he said.

“It’s a good sign when you see this; it tells us the company is making profits.” Mr Denguo said.

Ramu NiCo’s related landowners have companies like Basamuk Enterprise, Maigari Holdings, and a few others, but these are not operating effectively.

Raibus Limited alone operates Raibus Security, Raibus Engineering, and Raibus Catering, which partners with National Catering Services.

Mr. Denguo said the two recently bought 15-seater buses would be used for special pickups and executive airport pick-ups and drop-offs.

He thanked Ramu NiCo for giving them the opportunity to expand their operations at Kurumbukari Mine site and the Basamuk Refinery site.

Mr. Denguo expressed his wish to work with Ramu NiCo in other areas such as staff transportation, including pick-ups and drop-offs.

Meanwhile, Raibus Security will start paying dividends to landowners who own the company.

Mr. Denguo said landowners should not believe false rumors about company mismanagement or other negative stories, as they will soon benefit from the dividends of their company.
